Check-in: from 02:00 p.m.Check-out: until noon Hotel Elbe is set in the centre of Frankfurt in the immediate vicinity of the banking district and the popular area around the railway station (red light district) with direct connections to the public transport network. Frankfurt and Offenbach exhibition centres as well as all the sights of the city are within a few minutes' walk. The establishment has been recently renovated and awarded three stars by the DEHOGA association of hotels. There are 25 rooms (3 of which with balconies) all equipped with en-suite facilities, hairdryer, cable TV, direct dial telephone, mini fridge and heating. All rooms offer WLAN use for an extra charge. One child up to 10 years old may stay in the parents' room for free. Fax and photocopy facilities and a comprehensive range of information and brochures concerning events, restaurants (serving mainly plain fare and regional cuisine) and city listings are available at the reception. Pets are welcome, subject to a small surcharge. The city's important sights, such as the Römer (town hall), the Palmengarten (botanical garden), the zoo, St.Paul's church, the old opera house, the stock exchange, Goethe's birthplace and a number of museums are all within easy reach on foot. Boat trips on the River Main, for example to Bingen, Rüdesheim or Loreley, also depart nearby.

Reasonable price, good choice of tv channels, fine breakfast are the pluses. A bit far from the very center (15-20 min walk), somewhat incompetent and even rude staff, very small rooms, no wi-fi are the minuses.

Bathrooms were far too small, washbasin was not adequate for adult use and the fact that it was right next to the red light district was not mentioned in the brochure or net

The room and the hotel was very beautiful, but they smell a tabbac and the area is a red light area not too much safe.

Right in the middle of the Red light district. Close to everything you need :) Close to the trainstation and to airport busses. Close to subway and shopping. Excellent value for money! As it is in the middle of the red light district I would not recomend singel female or people traveling with children for this hotel. Can be a tough neighborhood during the night/evening.

+ Location, close to the Railway station - In the red light zone, not feel like a safe area to stay. Not air conditioning in the room.

This place was interesting. The staff was freindly and the rooms were quite nice, but the area was very suspect. I enjoyed it because Im a guy and I dont get nervous in grimy areas but I would not recomend this place to a bunch of ladies. Cool for a night but more than that Id go some where else.

Very good and confortable hotel with nice breakfast, perfect location (really next (150 m) to the mail train station.
