Great location! Friendly, efficient and helpful staff. Location can't be beat, just down the street from the railway station. The room we were in was very small, but OK if you're just planning on sleeping there - we were there for one overnight before catching a plane the next morning, and got a good night's rest. This is a budget hotel, but very good value.

As usual, I had a lot of reactions to the hotel, but until you change your absolutely ridiculous "Anonymous only" policy there's no real incentive to put them in your database. Other websites (book dealers, for example, or car review sites) have plenty of

Good Value Hotel There is a reasonable Thai restaurant, called The Emperor's Garden, just a 2 minute walk away. Next door to the Hotel is a small pizzeria, which seemed popular. For a lively pub atmosphere, with food, TV and pool, go to O'Reilly's Irish Pub, opposite the rail station.

My only complaint would be that the room was located along a very noisy street which made it difficult to sleep at times. Otherwise the service was excellent.

As usual, I had a lot of reactions to the hotel, but until you change your absolutely ridiculous "Anonymous only" policy there's no real incentive to put them in your database. Other websites (book dealers, for example, or car review sites) have plenty of ways of figuring out how to keep reviewers both accountable AND letting them use "pen names" or such so that readers can track the rewiews of their favorite reviewers; you should too. But a lot of the people who stay in your hotels are persons of prominence in their communities, I suspect, and they won't be inclined to publicly attach their name to an endorsement of a hotel on your website any more than they would in a magazine advertisement. It's too bad, because Venere is an otherwise good concept, ruined by this fatal flaw. Good day....
