The Hotel am Dom is a small and quiet establishment with 30 rooms which has been family-run since 1977. The property is set right in the heart of Frankfurt, only 30 m away from the cathedral. Due to this superb setting the hotel is the ideal starting point from which to visit the historical Old Town or the museums on the banks of the Main river. Our rooms feature traditional furniture and provide every comfort such as telephone, modem connection, TV, pay TV and hair-dryer. Furthermore, the hotel features excellent infrastructure. The metro station and the Römer multi-storey car park are only some 70 m away. The popular Zeil shopping mall is a 2-minute walk away. The hotel is a popular whereabouts for artists from the opera.

    I decided to take a 24-hour stopover in Frankfurt to relax after a long flight from Australia on my way to another destination in Europe.

    I have stayed at Hotel Am Dom every time I have been to Frankfurt. The price is reasonable. the rooms are small but very clean. The morning breakfast is delightful. Quite typical for a German hotel, but very nice all the same. The hotel is right behind the church, and if you are church facing, you can look right at it from your room. There is also a wonderful Sardinian restaurant right down the street that you can easily walk to for dinner.

    Superb location and excellent value for the money. The adjacent Cathedral & Romer Platz very inspiring. Nothing negative to note.
