Five Elements Hostel

Moselstraße 40 - Frankfurt

Welcome, and thanx for stepping accross our listing - we hope that we soon have the chance to welcome you in person in our brand new and funky Backpacker Hostel in Frankfurt / Main.Isn't it strange? Germany's biggest international airport, surrounded by lots of interesting destinations to explore, but hard to find a bed for a backpacker?Since September 2008 on these times are over! Top-Hostel in Germany 2008 by HostelsClub.com!Yes, we are finally open, trying to provide that home away from home that was so hard to find in this business city. And we received a great response – you can read it in the comments and ratings - even though not everything was ready from the beginning on. (Thank You!)What is it that makes the difference? The Five Elements Hostel is wholly dedicated to YOU, the traveller, and this already makes us unique in a city where most hotels and pensions live on business clients. And the quality of course: in a beautiful turn of the century building right in the center of Frankfurt, we created a quality hostel, from scratch, stylish and brand new. Hope this made you curious?WARNING: The hostel is right in the REDLIGHT DISTRICT. Though we consider this rather amusing and not at all dangerous, you should not book with us if you feel uncomfortable with it - we want you to enjoy your stay with us. ;-)Terms & Conditions1.) Best hostel I've ever been.If the red light district (which is not dangerous, in my opinion) is not a problem for you, then don't think about it twice: head to "five element hostel" right now!

I´ve booked and payed for a bed, but I did not stay because it was kind of too many in a litle room (6).I don´t use to be that pikie, hahahahahaha, but... I was too tired and I leave after I´ve seen my bedroom. Next time I will book with you again just because the staff was so cool and friendly. Offcourse it will be in a private room just for me.have a good one guys!!!

one of the nicer hostels I've stayed at-little things like towels and a late breakfast/check out was really convenient-the location was good if you can handle the grimy feel of a redlight-staff was very helpful with the bar and free wifi making the reception area a very social area-will look even better when they finish interior construction

we stayed at the hostel when there were renovation works going on, so we had a free breakfast every day, and the breakfast was very, very good. Also, there were little touches such as candles and christmas cookies on the tables (we went there during christmas) which was lovely too. The rooms and showers were clean, but note that the shower cubicles are made of totally transparent glass so there is no privacy whatsoever. Also, the hostel is in the red light district but we encountered nothing worse than some catcalling. But overall it was a lovely stay, and we'd stay there again.
