Bornheimer Hof

I live in frankfurt and have most of my family and friends living in Ireland. We recently had a wedding party of 15 staying in the hotel and were extremely dissappointed in the level of service and friendliness at the hotel! Not only were the staff extremely rude and unhelpful, they shouted abuse at the guests, and threatened physical assault on my brother-in-law and mother. They shouted at my nieces and nephews, calling them dirty, loud abusive kids, and stating that it was supposed to be a business hotel and not for filthy loud children. My family and I come from a respectable middle-class background, and try to behave in a normal, acceptable manner, and found these statements hurtful and abusive, especially in front of children.

The hotel is newly renovated, but quite simple and clean. Good location with a lot of bars / restaurants near by (as well as a grocery store and a bakery). I am not sure whether I would call the hotel modern and stylish furnished. Furniture or design was not outdated, but pretty simple and basic. In addition the room was very small. Finding public (free) parking can be quite challenging.
