+ Helpful reception staff - 1. no refrigerator in room 2. no method of queuing up for the internet

Excellent location; competent, helpful, knowledgeable staff and good rooms. I will try to stay here again.

+ OK I was there to meet my daughter so only used the room for sleeping.She was in a top class hotel paid for by the eu,which i could not afford.the astoria was close by and in a safe area or so it seemed - Wi Fi did not work

A wonderful hotel. The location was perfect for the university (where I was studying for a week) but also a great location for sightseeing due to its closeness to the tube station and tram stops. The staff were very friendly and helpful and my room was comfortable and clean. I had been a bit nervous about staying in an unknown town on my own, but the hotel made it a very pleasant experience. Thank you.

Very nice hotel, exactly as advertised. Extremely clean, great price for the value, and wonderful staff. We have already re-booked.
