Hotel Rheinblick is a small but nice private hotel situated directly at the River Rhine. Guests are able to enjoy impeccable service, an unspoilt view of the river, old romantic charm and a modern, classic ambience. This elegant house is located in the exclusive and quiet residential area of Cologne-Rhodenkirchen, right at the banks of the Rhine – the so-called Cologne Riviera – and approximately 6 km south of Cologne Cathedral. Numerous restaurants, bars and cafés as well as exclusive shopping facilities are in the near surroundings. The traditional villa invites you to stay in one of its 16 individually furnished rooms appointed with private bathroom with shower, toilet and hairdryer and presenting a very special ambience. Each of the rooms features a telephone, cable TV, internet access and mini-bar. The adjacent building comprises 10 spacious apartments with kitchenette and a large balcony with view of the river. Every apartment comes with a parking space in the underground car park. A delicious and lovingly prepared breakfast buffet is served in the conservatory with view of the river every morning. This way, a great start to the day is provided.

-We were in appartments "near" the hotel. When checking in the assistant did not tell us that they had a swimming pool and that we could use it!

+Great location, right on the Rhine. Helpful staff answered our questions about travel into the old city. Breakfast was very good. The room was spacious and modern, very comfortable.

+The building is very attractive in a residential area. It was sunny and nicely furnished. The sunporch for dining is luxurious. The food was very good, beautifully presented and staff assisted. The view of the river is lovely. The personel were very helpful and pleasant. The whole atmosphere was dignified and relaxing. -It is not readily accessible to public transportation and taxi fare is expensive I always walk to public transportation so it was manageable but for someone who can not do this it would be a real deterrent. Also you have to climb a flight of stairs to get into the building and then to each floor which can be a deterrent. They did not have CNN which left me with no contact to my USA which is a little disconcerting in these times. For me the hotel worked fine but I think you need to be specific about the transportation and accessibility.

+we arrived late at night as our flight was delayed but someone was there to greet us at the door. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Defintitely stay there again.
