Pullman Cologne

Fantastic hotel and well worth the relatively cheap price. Make sure you check out the bar downstairs with live music. We requested Piano Man and I got to sing with the piano man!

+ Very upmarket feel - The renovation works were annoying, some hammering at 9.30AM. The late check in 3PM was bad enough, but we tried to check in at 3.35 and they had to check if the room was ready, . We got sick of waiting to hear back and went to the

This hotel has a good location, about 10 minutes walk from the cathedral. The breakfast (15 Euros/person) was nice. Rooms size was OK, but the furnishings could do with a little renovation. My biggest issue was that the staff looked bored (and not very smart!) and were not trying to friendly or helpful. On the whole I expected a little more from a 4*.

+I received a room upgrade. Counter staff did that bit extra to find me a room at 8am when the previous night they had been fully booked. After a 30 hour flight from Australia that was most appreciated

Superb. So clean, so good, so near to the Dom. What was wrong - only the lift down to the garage was a little slow!

+ I liked its location which is close to the shopping center. - I was surprised that a 4 star hotel didn't have wifi

+The location was very good. When you compared with the other hotels with same star in Europe, this hotel was perfect.

The staff were friendly and attentive; the rooms were spotlessly clean with comfortable beds; there was an extensive choice of food at the breakfast buffet. Due to the construction work being carried out at the time of our visit, we were subjected to the sound of drilling and hammering from 8am on the first morning. The staff obligingly assigned us a room on a quieter floor.
