Hotel Esser is conveniently placed as regards traffic connections. It can be found in the centre of Cologne, within easy walking distance to the Old Town, the Rhine and the Heumarkt square. Sights like the Cologne Cathedral and the Chocolate Museum are nearby. The hotel is also the perfect place to stay for trade fair visitors, as it is only 2 tram stops from the fair grounds (lines 1 and 9). This three-star hotel features 42 cosy single, double and triple rooms with en-suite facilities, TV, telephone, WLAN (extra charges apply), desk and mini-bar. Guests can dispose of the hotel's garage in order to park their car (up to a height of 2m). Fees apply. We kindly ask you to reserve a space in advance. Pets are welcome after prior arrangement and for a small fee. Guests have complimentary access to the 3,500 m² spa and sauna area of the affiliated Mauritius Hotel & Therme, which can be reached in 15 walking minutes or by tram. The spa area is open daily from 09:30 a.m. to midnight. Bathrobes, towels and disposable slippers can be borrowed for a fee.

The room was tiny and hot. Very noisy on the street. We wern't happy there so asked if we could check out early the next day and cancel our third day so we could go to Amsterdam early. The concierge on duty said there would be no problem so we...

A great place to stay. Good location, safe, clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We also enjoyed our time at the Sister Hotel's Finish spa.

This hotel needs to solve the fly problem in the restaurant where customers have breakfast! Overall it is a fine hotel.

Good budget hotel a short walk from the centre of town and the cathedral etc. The room rate includes an excellent breakfast.
