very central very quiet not to many local attractions , but the roman museum was a winner for me

i do not understand what is the reason for charging 10 euro for just 1 hour standart internet connection! do they not earn enough? this should be a free service for the guests...

Great stay The Hotel is extremely well located, 5 mins and you are in the main square, where restaurants are plentiful. Shopping is great, theres culture close by too. The staff were lovely, the only downside was no coffee making facilities in the mornings..But the local bakery is not far..I wilol definately be going back..

Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and stylish. Overall, a good.

Good enough but nothing to write home about Phantasialand in nearby Bruhl is a great family orientated theme park, cheap compared with british theme parks (even the food). It has a few big-thrills ride but mostly concentrates on smaller scale themed rides rather than rollercoasters so would be good for families with younger children.

very pleasant Take the U-Bahn to the Zoo and take the cable car across the Rhein, the views are amazing. Then walk along the river bank through the Rheinpark to the Hohenzollern (main railway) bridge and back to the Dom. A great little walk.

Comfortable bed, large rooms This hotel was very nice, located in the heart of Cologne, just a few blocks from the train station and the Dom. The room was very large by European standards, and the bed was comfortable.

Quiet, clean and very central The Lindner Hotel Dom Residence is in a GREAT location, so convenient to the train station (5 min. walk), and is a very good value. The staff were friendly and spoke fantastic English. The pool is a bit small, but quiet, and the attached health club is spotless. AVOID the hotel's horrible Italian restaurant: we accidentally had dinner here and it tasted as though it had come straight from the microwave. Don't eat here.

Ideal for a city break This hotel is perfectly situated for a city break, being within 5 minutes walk of Cologne Dom and the railway station. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout and well maintained. Our room was a decent size and very comfortable, especially the bed, which meant a really good nights sleep. We did not eat in the hotel, so cannot comment on the food from the restaurant. We would certainly recommend this hotel to others and stay here again ourselves.
