GREAT hotel! We can’t say nough about this great hotel! The rates were really cheap and the hotel was modern and snazzy. The hotel staff spoke great English and were able to help direct us to restaurants and shopping. The location of the hotel is also great - we parked our rental car in the hotel’s garage and didn’t move it once, as everything we were interested in was within walking distance. It is right across the street from the Rhein River, a few steps from the Chocolate Museum, a nice 10-15min walk to the Dom Cathedral and a 5 minute walk from a huge shopping area, full of great clothing and book stores as well as pastrys and frites galore. We were travelling with our 8 month old son and had requested a crib for the room. We arrived to an upgraded room (much larger in size) and a baby crib with a comforter and pillow. It was so hassle free. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Koln!

Really, it does not get any better than this... Truly, one of the best hotels I have stayed in Europe. It is not pretentious, trying to be something it is not. The staff is friendly and willing to help in any way possible - they were terrific! The rooms are clean, beds comfortable - nothing negative or even semi-negative to report. The hotel is in a neighborhood, so make sure you remember the street name it is located for the taxi as it is not a major hotel and many taxi drivers are not familiar with the name. The location, even though in a neighborhood, is within walking distance of everything in central Cologne. The cathedral is about a 10 minute walk and there is a tram stop 2 blocks away to explore everything else Cologne has to offer. Oh! Breakfast is really good here, so definitely enjoy the breakfast!

Great Hotel I was leery of this hotel when we were driving up to it, and even when we were in the lobby, but our room was fantastic. Clean and modern, non-smoking and quiet (even with Carnival going on). I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Very clean, nice service This hotel was great...very modern and very clean. Hotel room was small but fine for two people. The staff was accomodating and friendly. It’s enough off the beaten path that you’re not surrounded by tourists, but an easy walk to the excitement of Koln.
