Hotel Domstern

Hope to go back for Christmas markets Although a small hotel, the Domstern is clean, well-positioned for the city centre and provides everything one would need. Of perhaps greater importance is that the staff are so friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend the Domstern for a stay at Cologne.

not impressed Location ok, but not a few steps from the Dom. The hotel is renovated. But be ware of the noises.

Very convenient location Hotel was very clean - good value for the $. The location was good, since we were travelling by rail. Staff was very friendly & helpful as well as speaking excellent English. We did not opt for the breakfast since it was expensive (11 euro for 2, although I didn't see what they served.

Very friendly and helpful staff, offered us a coffee when we arrived and provided a What's On leaflet every morning at breakfast and recommendations where to eat etc. Room very clean and comfortable with large shower & WC. Good breakfast. Hotel is just 5 mins from Hautbahnhof and Dom but in a quiet side street so a very good location. None

The service by the personnel at this hotel is exceptionally good for a hotel of this price range. Without exception, the staff members were cheerful and helpful. I especially appreciate the dinner recommendation and print-out of the train schedule. The shower area was very small.
