Hotel Arcaden

I was travelling with my wife and baby of 17 months. We had a very pleasant stay. The location is very nice, as you step out of the subway station. There are lot of inexpensive eating options, and a big shopping mall just across the street. The staff is very helpful, and hospitable. The breakfast is very generous. 24 hour reception. It turned out ot be beter than what we expected.

+Goed uitgebreid ontbijt in de ongezellige eetruimte in de kelder. Mogelijkheid om de wagen te parkeren op een afgesloten open privéterrein voor 5 E/dag. U-bahn en busstop vlak voor de deur: met de U-bahn in 2 haltes aan de Messe en treinstation.

Excellent location for public transport and local shopping. The hotel was modern and clean, the room having a table and chair as well as a bed and wardrobe. Plentiful supply of hot water for showers etc Lighting in the bathroom was too dim, not helped by the fact that the light over the mirror did not work.

Breakfast was good value and offered a variety of tasty foods. There was a lot of noise in room 102 from the restaurant below. The room smelled of the food being cooked at the restaurant below.

+the staff service & cleanness -very poor information about size of rooms

+If all you need is simply a bed and a shower in a basic room for the night this is as good as any. -No Bar !

+very close to messe, transportation and market -Breakfast and place of having it

+Nice staff, good location near Metro (Deutz Post) and train station (Trimbornstrasse), we had a room (403) with a nice little balcony, walking distance to old city (20 mins), breakfast is basic but nice, all cards accepted, shopping centre across the street. -Some street noise, towels were small (100 cm), no shampoo etc provided, TV only had German language channels.

+the bath room had a bad smell.
