The location is great for the money! There is also a McDonalds next door which makes it easy, especially for those with young children. The staff was very helpful and very kind. The rooms are tiny, but this is normal in Europe. However, this room did have a wonderful bathroom, which is not normal in Europe.

Nice new hotel, nice spacious rooms, location ok but not great, 20 minutes from downtown Cologne, 5 minute walk to the closest S bahn station.

Very good hotel and exceptional value for money. Spotlessly clean with very helpful staff. Only downside was no restaurant on site.

+Location -Needs some updating and cleaning.

+Cheap, Clean, internet connection in the room, tea and/or coffee in the room, same door for the bathroom and toilet (good idea), friendly staff -Bed was too narrow for 2 persons; 1 person was not enough serving breakfast at weekend, we had to wait for food; smell of smoking in the elevator, on corridors, during having breakfast, but this is the problem of Germany, where smoking is allowed

Very easy to navigate to koln centre from Hotel........thoroughly recommended for short visits

+Easy to find -no easy connection to city with bus or S-Bahn

+The rooms were clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is located in a quiet area. Koln is a short drive away.

I stayed at the hotel for 3 weeks, on a business trip, really big mistake to pay in advance! Reception, always only one person, for a hotel with over 100 rooms, that means you really have to wait your turn to ask her something, and even if you ask her something (2 out of the 3 receptionists) she will either answer you with I don't know (for the phone fares from the hotel)! That really made me angry! Shortly: breakfast always the same, very little to choose from, lounge too small for all the guests, too high prices for the room - no wardrobe for the closet in the room, no mini-bar in the room and room-maids who do wake you up Sunday morning at 9 am to clean your room and too far away from city center - more than 8km.
