Drei Könige am Dom

When I arrived, it turned out they had no room available at "Drei Könige am Doom". However they had arranged a room at sister hotel "Star am Dom" a few hundred meters away. Star am Dom was excellent, just been renovated, and friendly staff.

Very close to the Central station- An ideal hotel at a reasonable price for rail pass holders and travellers. comfortable bed A bit noisy at night and early morning when activity was occurring in the street.

Very central, and a good view of the station if that's what you want! Slightly expensive for what it is. Not flexible enough on booking changes.

Overall we had a pleasant stay at the hotel. On first arriving we were placed in the rooms at the back which where extremely small, on talking to the reception they gladly moved us to larger rooms at no extra cost, when the rooms became available the foll

+Very clean and close to the Main Train Station. -The shower in the bathroom could have curtains (some kind of coverage), so you donot have water allover the place during a shower.

Near to the the Koeln main station(No taxi needed)

Very good Hotel for the price, clean, lluminated ,very kind crew of the hotel. Good breakfast, near the train station as we see in the booking information. Room was like in the photos.

Really good value! Great location easy walk from the Central Station, just behind the Dom & next to Koln Philharmonic. Lots of shopping nearby as well as places to eat & lovely view of the Rhine.

+very convenient to the train station, room was small, but clean and perfert to spend the night in. Would recommend it to anyone. Price was great!

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms have been very clean and comfortable both times I have stayed. The water pressure in the shower is excellent. It was very easy to work with my laptop while staying there. The wireless internet connection had a very strong signal and was very fast. The location is incredible; right next to the Cathedral with a very nice view of the Rhine. There are tons of bars, clubs, and restaurants around the hotel. More importantly, there is a parking garage right directly in front of the Hotel! It isn't noisy or anything because the entrance and exit to the Garage is on the opposite side from the Hotel. I would definitely stay here again and again! aside from the overwhelming number of people in the vicinity of the hotel due to the Christmas Market, there was quite a bit of construction in the area which made it very difficult to drive to the hotel. it isn't the hotel's fault though.
