Novotel Koeln City is a large, modern hotel situated less than three kilometres from Cologne city centre and five kilometres from the zoo and fairground. Excellent value - just a short walk to the city centre Excellent value hotel. Reasonable size rooms, comfortable beds, smart communal areas. Only downside is that it is a 15 min walk to the centre of Cologne.

Stayed here in Aug 2004. Hotel was clean and staff helpful. Location is not too bad if you don't mind a 10-15 minute walk to the centre.

Very pleased with hotel standard we stayed with child and are very happy with standard and quality of meals we stayed in for. service is good and location also, definetly stay there again and recommend.

Very nice and friendly staff. The location is not the best, but not paying to be in the center of town. So glad to have air conditioning and individual room temperature control.

The wireless is not for free!!! The hotel was very good and cheap. The breakfast is great. Very quiet and the staff are very helpful. The only thing I found teribly expensive is the internet connection charges - 18 EUR per hour is just toooo much.

Hotel new, modern and very clean. River front location. Free internet access. Staff very helpful There are a lot of roadworks taking place around the hotel and building on the Quayside opposite the hotel. No noise from this work but makes the area less attractive for now.
