good place to stay - we were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. definately value for money. Beds comfortable. bathrooms in very clean and neat condition. Breakfast was GREAT! Only minus is that the window in the bedroom didn't close properly and we could hear lots of noise from the road.

The guy who was at the reception desk was very short to me when arriving.Or was it due to the group who just arrived before me? My room, 1 person, was a dancing palace! Double bed-extra bed-sofa- woaw! The breafast buffet the first morning was ok. Unfortunately there were no more scrambled eggs at 9 o'clock. I really liked the flowers on the breakfast tables. The evening before my departure I was called from the reception desk around 11 PM, to check the payment and the invoice. The lady who had to give me the last morning my invoice was really friendly, though she was a stand-in. She even double-checked with her boss on the phone if she did the things right.

I was at the City Inn Hotel. It belongs to the same owner. I appreciated my stay.

The breakfast was very good. The hotel is next to the cologne uni hospital and subway is just few meters away. The staff is very nice and helpfull.

+ Tram stop was fairly close by. - Room cleaner accidentally broke the veranda curtain panel and the curtain was left hanging, the veranda door left open using our suitcase as door stopper and we had to find out from the receptionist whether it was a brea

Very good value for money, with a good standard of facility. Staff friendly and helpful all of the time. Room a little bleak, lighting not great for reading or convenience of putting off. Bed-linen though clean inadequate. Bathroom good. We asked for a double room overlooking garden and got it. Area very calm and nice, plenty of local restaurants for eating at night at a reasonable price. About a 15 minute tram ride into the centre city but that was pleasant. Only criticism is that their site said that they ran a restaurant and bar. This was not the case though they are hoping to do so in the near future. The hotel seems in a kind of a change over period. Would stay there again.

The localization is not good. The bedroom service is also not good. But the breakfest is very good.

+ price, cleanliness, location! :) and the breakfast was good - no elevator! no parking! but for that price I could live without them ;)
