Good hotel for short visit The food and service in the hotel restaurant were excellent. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean. The only negative to the experience was the location of the hotel as it didn’t seem to be in a very good neighborhood.

EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT!! I was VERY pleased with this hotel. Our room was fantastic, and the staff were the BEST staff we encountered in our whole honeymoon trip (17 days) in Europe! Just when we thought there was no customer service in Europe, this hotel proved it DOES exist there. The front desk staff was very pleasant and courteous. It is a little off the path, and you have to transfer trains on public transportation(tough to do with over 2 weeks of luggage). Good thing is if you cab it to the main train station -- it’s only about 13-15 Euros! **If you pay more, you’re getting ripped off!** Well worth it if you have more than 1 bag per person. Traveler's tip For sanity -- cab it to & from the main train station with luggage - you’ll be glad you did!

Good breakfast, midway between center of Koln and Leverkusen no bathrobe, not easy to get by public transport

This is a very nice, American-style hotel. It is outside of the city center, but don't let that put you off--the suburban train line runs right through the area and the stop is a walk of five minutes from the hotel. Just go out the door and turn right a

Supplied gluten free bread for my wife who is Coeliac All staff very pleasant and helpful. Dining room and kitchen staff were happy to help with my wife's gluten free dietary needs and even supplied gluten free bread - a very rare occurrence. The slightly out of town location suited us particularly as a short walk through a park brought us to the R. Rhine. A most enjoyable stay.

Good choice for Business Traveller The hotel is a good value, especially for a business traveller. Easy reach to the city and downtown of Cologne The rooms are spacious, the color and design scheme is pleasing and all new, light and clean. Good for work in the evening, enough desk space. Breakfast is good. Convenient parking. The fitness room is a bit lacking in equipment, but as an alternative easy to do a long walk along the Rhine. Next door is a typical German Brauhaus, in case you have no desire to go out. The restaunrant in the hotel was not bad, but not special either. Friendly, helpful staff Traveler's tip for business travelers The hotel address sounds a bit off Cologne but a very good alternative to downtown. Easy reach of motorway, airport and city.

Our stay was ok Our stay would have been better if the staff had been more friendly. We where also told that they served an american breakfast, it was no where near an american breakfast it was scrambled eggs, and sausage. The breakfast was quite expansive, and not worth it. Our room was very nice, I am glad that I took my iterinary because the hotel clerk tried to give us a standard room until I showed her that she was wrong. We also experianced problams with the parking grage that you have to pay to park in, they wouldnt open the gate to let us in we where locked in the parking grage for 20 minutes, and then we had to find our way to the main hotel through a random door.... One other thing, the hotel description tells you that you that you are 300 meters form the Rhine river, so you would think that the hotel was right on the river, nope, you can’t even see the river. That was one of the things that made us want to stay at this hotel, and when we found out that we couldnt see the river we where disapointed. Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay Don’t buy the breakfast. The hotel is a good distance form downtown, so be prepared for the axi fee’s.
