I've stayed regularly at the Atrium over the last 3 years. The service is always friendly and the rooms are clean. The rooms do vary quite significantly in terms of size - people used to large US style hotel rooms may be in for a surprise. The hotel is in Rodenkirchen - a prosperous suburb to the south of the city of Cologne on the west bank of the Rhine. The town has a number of nice restaurants and is 20 minutes by taxi to the airport and 15 minutes into the city.

Dreadful hotel with auful staff make this a perfect holtel for the tv series holiday nitemares!!! Rude unhelpfull staff. Parking facilities a joke - you can get them to park your car (leaving your keys with a guy behind the desk - who will move it in and out (reversing it onto a busy one way street) while he lets the other cars also parked behind one another in a cellar staked high with boxes! of kitchen ware) not quite how advertised - more like cellar than parking. Have seen better rooms in youth hostels Take my advise. Steer clear with a long barge pole!
