I love the the ambiance, the friendliness of the staff, the comfort overall. It is one of the finest hotels I have stayed at in Europe. I will go back.

+This hotel is so central to everything you need to get to in Cologne. the hotel is lovely and clean. Not very modern downstairs but the rooms were fantastic. the staff were absolutely fantastic and so so helpful. i would definetly go back again. Great value for money.

This is an extremely friendly small hotel where the staff (including the proprietor) could not do enough to help. The room sizes were large and had all the essential comforts. Will stay here again for sure.

+I have stayed at the Appartel am Dom for the seven years I have been traveling to Cologne. It truly IS my "home away from home'. I have always been treated as a unique and valued guest, the staff remember my name and are incredibly and warmly welcoming; the rooms are huge - each one has its own personaity -and are impeccably clean and comfortable, with facilities for cooking and a well-stocked mini-bar. breakfast is memorable and 'custome prepared' for each guest. The small but friendly lounge is a great place to interact with other guests or to bring your friends. Complimentary beverages and snacks are available. I cannot say enough good things about the Appartel and its staff!

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was very spacious with a balcony and a train station view. The room decor was a little old fashioned and slightly tired.
