Great Location, Great Room, Poor Restaurants Arrived but hotel room was not ready. Should have been able to check-in at 2PM but waited until 5PM. However, on getting to the room I was very satisfied with the furnishings and size. The room (Junior Suite) was a refuge for the four days I was in Paris site-seeing and a great place to come back and relax. I could not have picked a better location. The hotel staff were helpful, friendly and spoke fluent English which I was very grateful for. All in all, I had a good experience and would stay again. Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks Avoid the on-site restaurants. The restaurant staff were helpful and courteous but the food was only o.k. Also, you will want to pickup your own sodas or bottled water, the mini-bar rates are astronomical and unlike anything I’ve experienced at similar hotels.

Great Location to See Paris The Westin was in a great location, directly across from the Tuileries Gardens and the Louvre. A metro station is very conveniently located as well for those spots that aren’t withing walking distance. The rooms were about to be updated, which will make it even more attractive. We would definitely stay there again. Traveler's tip on dining Lots of nice brasseries nearby for lunch or dinner.

Loved the hotel. The front desk were very courteous. I nicely explained my 83 year old mother needed to get in a room early and not only did they accomodate us but upgraded us from a king size standard room to a newly renovated 2 queen size bed suite with couch ,chairs and windows overlooking quiet neighborhood street. All the staff were helpful and polite. Loved the food in the restaurant and bar but very dull in the evening. Lots of everything close by.

The room is nice but getting there is an endeavour The room I had was extremely well equipped and very comfortable. Getting there is another story. There is only one set of elevators in this hotel and I had to walk 7 long and 2 short corridors to get to my room. Other guests would need another 4 or 5 corridors. It’s like a maze. Also I found the hotel ans especially the restaurant staff extremely snobbish. The coffee quality is ridiculous for a westin. It’s basically diluted Nescafe. The breakfast hours kept changing every day without notice. For my money I would pick the nearby Renaissance Vendome or the excellent Park Hyatt on Rue de la Paix.

Very disappointed With all the 4.5 & 5 star ratings from other reviewers we were excited about staying at the Westin Paris, and at first we were happy, however that came crashing down when we were upgraded to a "larger room" that had been recently renovated. It was a beautiful room but the furniture in the room was far to large making this "large" room appear very small and cramped. Our 3 pieces of medium sized luggage and 2 carry-ons barely gave us enough room to move around. The A/C wasn’t working which made comfort in the room uncomfortable on the hot days we were in Paris. The WiFi in the lobby was down and the Webtv in the room wasn’t working as well - forcing us to pay 20 euros per hour to use the business center, there wasn’t an ethernet cable to connect our laptop in the room as well, though they said it was there but maintence couldn’t find it. It took their "Express Service" maintence 3hours to come help with the WebTv and find the ever ellusive ethernet cable. On the day we checked out we went to the consierge to see if they could call our airline for us, he picked up the phone, didn’t dial and hung up informing us the airline was closed on a Sunday and couldn’t be reached. Though we were able to call the same airline at 4am (PST) on a Sunday and able to get through. Overall our stay was horrible at the Westin and would never wish to return or recommend Westin Paris to anyone else.
