I would recommend this hotel to anyone. This is the best stay I've ever had in Paris because of the hotel. While I was traveling on business this trip, I would like to come back with my husband. I am sure that we will enjoy it just as much as I did.

+ Friendly and helpful hotel staff, breakfast convenience and quality. - Room very small for the price, no ice bucket, no beverage vending machine, lack of another english speaking TV channel, i.e., ESPN

I guess it's usual in Paris, but we thought the room was way too small for a 4 star

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of days. The area is excellent, which was the reason we chose it. It's quiet at nights and you can open your windows for fresh air. That's about all I can say positively about the hotel. The air conditioning in the room was not working. Internet access is paid and you need to go and obtain a scratch card, even if you want to log on from their terminal in the lobby. The service is not exceptional, neither it is merely good -- after retrieving a couple of bags from the storage, for us to go to the airport in the taxi, the doorman simply dropped them on the floor in front of me and went back to reading his newspaper. I would expect the bags to be delivered to the trunk of the taxi at any decent hotel with a basic idea of hospitality. I won't stay at the place again, but would rather go for any of the 2-3 star hotels closer to Marais.

Nice hotel, very clean, romantic bedroom but really too small; new and clean bathroom. The location is very close to places des vosges and less than 2 blocks to the metro (secondary lines). I did not have breakfast, but I had a look at and it seemed good (a bit expensive).

+ location is not bad, it's very quiet away from street noise - the price is very high for the poor standing. room decoration is atrocious, beds are old and bathroom very un-practical

very charming and comfortable My friend and I stayed here for a week in early Nov. and really liked it. The room was quite large by Paris standards, and the bathroom was brand new and very clean! A few bits of info: the showers have "frosted" glass windows, which are not at all opaque!! Be warned that if you shower at night you will be starring in an unplanned peep show with only the finest details hidden!! Also the maids smoke while cleaning your room, but it seems everyone in Paris smokes, so I guess just try to adjust! Overall a lovely room, and those manning the front desk were very kind and helpful.
