GREAT location Take the RER train to Versailles and pack a picnic lunch. The gardens and fountains make a wonderful setting for a leisurely meal!

very cute little place,tucked away in a court,with local fruit market as you step out of the court,We arrived Saturday and stayed on Sunday,both days it was operating,with great bakery,wineshops,and other food shop full of magic french produce fit for the best picnic

bit overpriced but good hotel The hotel is in a great and safe location. But the room was smelling of cigarettes.( even though we requested a non-smoking room). The towels were also smelling of cigarettes. The room was small for the money we paid. But, the staff was very curteous and helpful and they all spoke great english. There is a nice little market just outside and also a grocery store across the main road. The bathrooms were clean and in general the room was clean. arc de triomphe is walkable and there is a train station (metro) right there which takes you to all the local attractions. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. There is a bus shuttle nearby (l’armee avenue). 1 mile from this hotel, that takes you to "Beauvais airport". If you book flights through ryanair.com you can get dirt cheap tickets to most places in Europe. Only thing is Beauvais airport is 70Kms from here. But the shuttle is very useful.

Small but perfectly formed Buy a carnet card if you plan to use the metro a lot.

+ The location. - I thought the breakfast was very poor and the selection of bread was far from good. Also, they were clearing the food at 10.30 even though breakfast was supposed to be served until 11.00. I wouldn't rate the hotel as 4*.

All in all the hotel is great and is a good value for the money. - Travelers with a car should know that the underground parking is VERY hard to access and vans/Jeeps will have very hard time entering/exiting and will probably scrach the car or abuse the wheels against the steep curving walls. Front desk should have warned about this.. + Breakfast is reach and a far better choise for honest breakfast lovers than any cafe shop. - Air condition made loud noises but brought no comfort (in the two rooms we took) + Other than that the previous review is accurate (-:

Very cute small hotel I enjoyed the open air market that was located on the street right outside the hotel. A good location to see all the tourist sights. I would recommend this hotel.

There is a French Tourist office nearby as well, for brochures, maps, tips and travel guides.

Good location Hotel located in a quite street even with a street market one block from it. Good location, about 5-6 blocks from Arc d Triumph and good restaurants, pastisseries nearby. Nice a cozy room. For a triple room and European standard was comfortable. However, service was pretty bad. When we arrived, attention was terrible. We ask for usual tourist info... no satisfatory answer. You better do research by yourself before you go. If you are not a demanding tourist, this is a good place.

Arrived and was greeted with no air conditioning and a rude front desk staff "Oliver" who placed the issue of no air back in our laps. He offered no assistance in trying to find another hotel and told us if we did leave we would be charged for 2 nights. The temperature during our stay was 33C/96F and was unbearable during the evenings. We tried to find another hotel, but everything was booked. We had to buy fans at a local store so we could attempt to sleep at night. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. We confirmed our reservations by phone and e-mail months before our arrival and no one told us of the broken air conditioning (had been broken for 4 months). I booked and paid for a 4 star hotel for my family and we ended up in a 1 star hotel at best.
