Royale Villa Paris

Royale Villa Paris

2, Rue Duperré - 75009 Paris

Location. The lavish Villa Royale hotel is located in Paris, France, amid the chic nightspots of the city's artistic Pigalle district, three blocks from the Moulin Rouge. The Sacre Coeur and the Dali Museum are both within 800 metres, while the Champs Elysees and the Louvre are two and a half kilometres away. Hotel Features. Exuding a neo baroque glamour, the boutique style Villa Royale hotel has been the backdrop for numerous magazine fashion shoots. The 24 hour front desk offers a range of concierge services, such as in room manicures, hairdressing, massage and butler services (surcharge). Guests can enjoy a continental breakfast (surcharge) in their guestroom or the hotel's dining room. There is no restaurant at the Villa Royale hotel, but the surrounding area is filled with dining options and reception can provide recommendations. The hotel has small reception rooms for entertaining or meetings. Wireless Internet access is available in public areas. Complimentary newspapers are provided in the lobby. Guestrooms. The Villa Royale hotel's 31 boudoir styled guestrooms are furnished with rich fabrics, in either glitzy jewel or pastel colour schemes. Rooms are named after famous people and feature views of Place Pigalle. Rooms have air conditioning, cable television, dial up Internet access, minibars and safes. Marble bathrooms have telephones and bathrobes. Expert Tip. Hotel staff can provide information on Paris attractions, especially bits of Pigalle that are off the beaten track. While Sacre Coeur and Montmartre are awash with tourists, the locals flock to the lesser known streets between Pigalle and Abbesses, which are filled with eclectic boutiques and charming cafés and restaurants.

+ great deco, buzzy, interesting area, great views - Sometimes the neighbourhood gets rough and noisy, prices in mini-bar, rooms are somewhat small.

We were satisfied staying at this hotel for the first time. However, staff is very inexperienced for a 4 star hotel (with exception of Maroccan lady who made up with extra friendliness). In summary: if you can get the full discount the small Villa rooms are acceptable, otherwise it is overpriced. There is no free Internet service available at the hotel but at restaurants nearby.

our weekend was not good because of the hotel, the room was very very uncomfortable (the door of the toilet was so near the bed that we could open just about at 45°), little, with wall paper with tears. the worst thing was that when we went to pay, they said that my credit card and my bancomat are unable (i used them before and later and i didn't have problems) so we have to pay cash (the expensive total!) after that we came back from the bancomat point. i think that they don't know the use of credit card and bancomat because at the bancomat point i could take all the money that i wanted, but it's not normal to walk on pigalle with a lot of money to pay the hotel ! and the employees don't want to work and are very rudes. In Italy that hotel could be hardly 3 stars hotel.

+ location --- proximity to Metro - noise from the outside, rooms are fully sound proof

+ Stylish boutique-hotel, recently decorated, walking distance to Lafayette & Opera, a bar on the ground floor that works long hours. - Sometimes the neighbourhood gets rough and noisy, prices in mini-bar, rooms are somewhat small.

Villa Royale, Paris This hotel reminded me of a brothel room in Moulin Rouge! I was quite surprised. If you like a red room filled with silks and satins, and red lamps, this is the place for you. It is in Montmartre, so maybe it fits. I had two main problems. There is a club to the right of the hotel and of course, our room was on that corner. So, when the bouncers were having arguments with a patron, we heard that French argument in our 3rd floor room. These arguments would sometimes take place at 3 or 4 in the morning. When we talked to the hotel administration, they were unwilling to change our room, although people were checking out, so I don’t understand why we couldn’t have been switched. My other issue was there were no hand towels in the bathroom. When we requested some, the language problem expanded. Maybe it’s a European thing. It was also an inconvenience to have to leave your keys at the desk each time we left the hotel and wait to be buzzed in on our return.
