I stayed at the Royal Magda last week for 2 days and it was a nice experience. The location is perfect just one block off CDG Etoile station (Metro) which most likely will take you to anywhere in Paris. The hotel is in small street (Troyon) which is between the Champs-Elyesee and Avenue De Vagram...you can't beet that. Mcdonalds and Quick (a frensh fast food) are in the corners and If you crave a better quality food, you have many options. The hotel is very clean but very small too. The rooms are nice...I like this hotel and I'm okay with the price considering it's in Paris where major hotels are way overpriced compared to other cities.

Brief walk to L'arc de triumphe. Underground parking nearby. All sorts of shopping, bars & restaurants, but my overall impression of the area was brought down by the McDonalds that we had to walk by on the way to the Champs Elysse. Subways were close & convenient. My only beef was the price, but it might be totally typical of the area, I don't know. Staff were excellent & the overall look of the lobby was classy.

Did not stay at this hotel as they had to shut down for security reasons. However, they rsponsibily booked us into another hotel, the Concord lafayette, and I was extremely pleased with mmagda Etoile level of customer service in trying to find us another hotel.

The hotel is nice and cosy and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Also, the location is quite good: central but off the noisy main streets. Room size: Imagine a double bed plus about 75 cm to walk around it - that would give you a pretty accurate measure. Also, it's an old building and so you will hear pretty much everything that's going on in the neighbour rooms.

We booked into this hotel for 1 night whilst in Paris. Upon our arrival, the receptionist informed us that we had been upgraded to one of the suites. This extremely spacious and quiet room would normally be double the price of the one we had booked, so we were obviously delighted. the location is fantastic - 1 minutes walk from the Arc De Triomphe and associated underground station. The rest of central Paris can easily be accessed from here. There are also a good selection of bars and restaurants within 5-10 minutes walk. Overall an excellent place from which to base your trip. I would definitely return to this hotel.

We were pleasantly suprised to find the Hotel was exactly as advertised and right on price. We had a great family room, ie one bed room and the lounge room doubled as a bed for two kids. The staff were fantastic and could not do enough to help, particularly when my wife's purse was stolen on the Metro. They could not do enough to help and were vital in overcoming the language issues. Thanks Ingrid, you wre a life saver. Also, this holtel was well priced and close to where buses arrive/depart from/to Beaueve Airport. Would highly recommend.
