Our 3 night stay at the Royal Elysees Hotel was thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing. The hotel is in a great location right on the doorstep of all major attractions. The Hotel itself was very clean, rooms of good size with maid service every day.The staff were all very friendly, helpful and were good 'craic' Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and have told my family and friends this is the hotel to stay in if they where going to Paris. CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!

The hotel location was very good. The facilities and breakfast were fine considering the overall size of the hotel. There were only 2 things really I was disappointed with. One was the toilet in the bathroom which was loose at the base and wobbled when sat down on. The other thing was that I wanted a double room and it was a room with 2 single beds pushed together. This would have been fine but one of the beds had a broken leg and kept collapsing. I was impressed by how warm the hotel was as Paris was quite chilly.

Fabulous location with friendly and helpful staff. Room was small and windows difficult to operate. Would be way too hot in Summer as air conditioning non existent. Breakfast room about the size of a broom cupboard but constantly cleaned and refreshed by unsmiling waitress (She was the exception). Would stay again because of the location but from a UK Tourist Board point of view, it would rate between two and three stars.

Dear sir/ madam. I picked this hotel specialy becuase it said that they have shuttle service to and from the airport, when I contacted the hotel the night before my arrival as it informed me on the site the hotel receptionist told me that no shuttle,I told him why I choosed that hotel he just kept repeating himself no shuttle. I think this is misrepresentation. He suggest to get a taxi. Also on the check out they want to charge me 150 euro/ night, when I told them that i have the print from the online booking, he told me to wait till the manager arrive at 8 am to speak to him, that was just on my way to the airport. the manager changed the charges on the copmuter to 100 euro/ night as it was I booked it. this means there is no communication between the agency and the hotel management. it was embaressing. The worse thing that they blocked the stair(fire exit) at all times by a new wraped desk on the first floor entrance to the rooms. when my husband mentioned it to the receptionist, they did not take any action and left the desk. On the last day there was a carpet roll between the ground floor and first floor stairs, blocking half the way up and down, when we mentioned it they just ignored the matter and said we in the middle of refurbishing some rooms. Also member of staff opened the door on us at 6pm when I was resting, in bed, I do not think this a good practice to open the door without knocking first, it is rude, very rude. Part from that It was my first ever visit to Paris and I loved Paris, I will be back. But not with Venere, unless you do something about it and I would like to know waht you did?

The room's were tiny and dated. The so called air conditioning was non existent. Live wires protruded from the hall ways. The stair cases were cluttered and hazardous. It was more like a 2 star rather than 4 star accomodation. The breakfast consisted of cold coffee and a croisant. I Would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

the Royal elysees was a very central smart hotel right where i needed it to be as my friend was unable to walk far and the on off tour bus was 100 metres from the hotel. We had a room at the back of the hotel overlooking a derlict building but it was painted like the sky so it was very bright The staff were courteous and friendly. It had a nice bar area to relax after a day outor room service to get coffee or a drink all in all a very good hotel

Rooms are small, probably dependent on the price you pay. Staff are helpful and considerate. Some Rooms currently undergoing redecoration. Least expensive room quoted at reception is some 45Euros less than the price quoted at Venere.
