Small but nice Small, simple room. Quiet. Comfortable bed. Mini-fridge, microwave, flat-screen TV. Newly-refitted bathroom with great fixtures. No A/C, but a fan was provided; it was still comfortable on days it got up to 27C. Pretty good location close to St. Germaine du Pres metro stop. Lots of English and Irish pubs in the immediate vicinity. Traveler's tip Call the hotel a few days ahead of your arrival (if they don’t call you) - they need to know your approximate time of arrival, as they do not have a reception desk.

Quaint place in the 6e The rooms are not big, but in a European hotel, that’s not much of a surprise. The lack of reception area was a little strange, since there isn’t anyone on-site all the time. But the maid service was wonderful. The location is also great, not even a block away from St. Sulpice, and very close to St. Germain Blvd. I enjoyed the neighborhood, though it doesn’t settle down until late. If you’re looking to be pampered, this hotel is not for you. But if you’re an experienced Euro traveler, and are self-sufficient, (and you don’t mind hard mattresses), this place is for you. Traveler's tip on shopping There are several shops right near the hotel, but if you want to shop, be mindful of the hours, because most of them do not keep American business hours.

quite alright the apartment is super clean. There is no lobby, but if you push the bell, somebody comes soon from nearby. In our case when we asked a light bulb was immediately changed. Traveler's tip it is in a very busy center with the street full of people, and cose to the Saint Sulpice Church. During our night a busy party was going on first in the streets (football results)and then from a nearby apartment with open windows. I would recommend the managers to keep close to the police so that the police can if needed, take care of a quiet night

Great Location makes it worth it Hotel wasn’t bad. I mean, the comforter was gross, and we didn’t use it.... and the door handle kept coming off of the bathroom door....but other than that, it was fine. It was in a great location, and I liked that it seemed more like our own apartment rather than a hotel. I would definitely recommend it for someone on a budget! I’d definitely stay here again!

Not impressed. It works. It is a decent hotel. The reviews are accurate that if your window is facing the bar it is noisy, earplugs were an easy remedy for the noise. There is no air conditioning so we had the window open for air circulation and the smell of cigarette smoke was bad. The room itself was clean. The blanket and comforter were the same ones on the bed the entire time we were there 5 nights. It did not seem that they consistently changed the sheets and towels as the housecleaning information stated they would be changed daily. The size of the room and space was average for a European hotel. The stair case is very narrow and step; however, there is an elevator that 2 people can ride in. Location was great. We were close to two metro stops and in walking distance of cafes and a few sights. Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay If you are looking for a place to sleep at night this hotel is sufficient.

Like being in college again! I will absolutely stay here again. If you want a "no frills" studio in the heart of a trendy and vibrant neighborhood AND the ability to cook/prepare meals(save money) STAY HERE. You get: small studio on St. with an active nightlife(earplugs?I slept fine). Not"ritzy": it reminded me of struggling student life--we had a bed, bathroom, maid M-Th(not on weekends) and could and did walk EVERYWHERE from here. Hotel staff great--brush up on your French! Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay Metro stops very nearby--go to the MonoPrix for "stuff" and Champion supermarket, Paul bakery, meat/greengrocers/cheese shops on Rue de Seine for all of your food needs. Ate at the Aux Charpentiers 10 R. Mabillon and Degres de Notre Dame 10 R. de des Grands Degres--perfect and $$ not $$$$. Be wary of the "goldringscam" in tourist spots--wear a scarf and good black shoes to walk.

Great room and nice service The room we booked was like a small apartment. Very well kept and had a fridge and stove. Just needed WIFI to be perfect. If you don’t mind being on a busy street (bars/restaurants), this is the place to stay in Paris.

A fine place to crash Just need an inexpensive box with a clean bed to sleep in? This place is fine. A perfect choice for a flexible budget traveler who doesn’t need their hand held on a trip. No amenities or breakfast, etc., but good value for what you pay. Stayed in room 21, which was suprisingly quiet, considering the ruckus outside. Good location.

Great location. Clean. Small. Would do again. The location is great: near many tourist destinations. It does not have any amenities: no front desk, etc. Have to call and have someone show up to let you in the main door the first time. After that you have a key to the main door and a room key. The room was small, the bathroom had a shower/bath combo and was nice. The bed and mini kitchen were in one small room. Had a 4x4 balcone into a closed space. For a budget hotel it was great. I would stay there again.

Great (but noisy) Location Residence St. Sulpice is a converted apartment building. Each room is basically a studio apartment for rent. It’s in a great location just a block from St. Sulpice. The only downside of having a dozen bars and a dozen restaurants right outside your door is the noise. Friday and Saturday nights are particularly loud, but you should sleep fine if you bring a really good pair of ear plugs. Perfect place for an independent traveler on a budget who doesn’t need the amenities of a regular hotel.
