A good deal Skip the hotel offered breakfast (12 Euro) and grab a croissant down the street or on the Champs Elysees. The hotel is silly for not including breakfast, would only make them a more popular dig.

We enjoyed staying in this hotel - excellent location and reasonably friendly staff, most of whom spoke English. We arrived a couple of hours early and the hotel allowed us to leave our bags in our room. It was pouring outside and we had no umbrella - one of the housekeeping staff lent us her umbrella for the day. The rooms were clean and spacious enough (for a Parisian hotel). The bathroom was also clean. Breakfast was adequate. Whilst the hotel had fairly basic facilities, we wold probably stay there again.

Absolutely Terrible Service I'm not sure who actually rates these places, but nothing was as it seemed on the Internet. The entire room was tiny. The staff was the most UNFRIENDLY staff I have ever had to deal with. There was absolutely NO help with concierge services - utter disappointment for the amount of money spent!!!

Good for a short stay I would recommend it for it's excellent location and friendly staff, but the room was extremely small and so was the bed. The bathroom was ok, good size, but the shower as small as it is usually found in Europe

Great Location There are other hotels in the area that are a few bucks more and should be patronized instead of this one.

Would certainly stay again. the hotel was clean & offered all that we needed during our 3 night stay Hotel Marceau offered all the basic requirements of a hotel of this rating which was all we needed to lay down our heads in the evening. The bathroom was clean, the shower fine. On our first morning we went to a cafe for breakfast which was almost next door. The next day we went to a cafe bar at the bottom of the road - once again this was great. We had breakfast on our last morning within the hotel which was more than adequate. The staff were obliging - arranging for a taxi when required, postage stamps and made a restaurant booking on our behalf. I certainly would not hesitate in staying at Hotel Marceau again. The only thing that we missed was a cup of tea on return from our day out, unfortunately this was not available as there was no room service & no refreshment facilities in the rooms. The hotel was 5 minutes walk from the Arc d'Triumphe & Champs Elysees, 20 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower, 30 minutes from the Louvre and generally perfectly situated for a sightseeing trip to Paris. Plenty of very nice restaurants & cafes nearby.
