Basic infrastructure broken When I checked in for the hotel the friendly guy at the reception informed me that there was a problem with the window in this room, that it did not open. I thought it should be alright, however when I tried to sleep in that room it was impossible as it being summer and the room being on top, the temperature in there must have been about 40 degrees celcius. Next morning I went to the reception and informed the lady there that it was too hot in that room with window not opening and requested to be moved to another room. She harshly said that it was not possible as they were fully booked, but to check again on the next day. After experiencing another sleepless night in the hot room I finally got changed to a different room the next day. In the new room the shower was not working, the button to switch the water between shower and bath was broken. As I was not feeling for a bath in summer I informed the reception. They offered me to switch rooms again, however I was hoping they could send a mechanic to fix the problem, having just settled into the new room I was not willing to pack and unpack again.

It depends on which room you get Ask to move rooms if you don't like the first room. Room quality varies.

Horrible Dirty Rooms Do not let the downstairs deceive you. The downstairs of this hotel is great and the people were very helpful, BUT the room was disgustingly dirty, musky, and small. Our first room didn't even have enough room around the bed to put our bags down. The receptionist was very helpful in changing rooms but our next room wasn't all that great. The shower and bathroom door was broken and you could feel the springs in the bed with every movement. I know European hotel rooms aren't supposed to be up to American standards, but I have traveled a lot through Europe and I have never had a room this bad.

Hotel staff were the most helpful I have found in Paris. Location was average for a women staying by herself but can't do much about that.

Not impressed Unfortunately for this hotel first impressions were poor. The 2 girls on the desk were not in sympathy with the guest but were very indifferent and unhelpful about their job. The male who came on later was much better. The 2 girls were on again the next morning , but again this "apartness" not really trying to help left a bad impression.

I'have stayed 4 days in this hotel, and it was lovely. I had first a room without a bad and I wanted one. So i have asked them if it is possible and it was no problem, without extra payments i had the other room. The rooms are very quiet, but not so spaceys, but we are only for the nights in the room. I recommend this hotel for every one
