Perfect location, excellent accomodations The Paris Renaissance was a completely great place to stay for a short visit to Paris. It is a few minutes walk from major attractions like the Louvre and easy access to everywhere else. The internet was down for all of my stay which was not great, but that was a small problem in the misdst of a great hotel experience. Traveler's tip on local attractions River cruise is well worth the price of admission

All Review Photos Unpretentious, yet elegant, and of the highest quality, the newly renovated Renaissance Vendome (a Marriott property) was the perfect choice of lodging. We used Marriott points for 5 of our 6 night stay, and were upgraded to a...

My wife at I had the pleasure of staying at the Renaissance Paris Vendome from 7/9-7/16. We were lucky enough to stay for free by using Marriott points. What a great deal! I'm sure I would be more critical if I had to dish out $450/night, but with few exceptions, we found the hotel to be very comfortable, casual and convenient. The room was a typical size for Paris, but the bed was fairly large, and very comfortable. It was warm last week, and we didn't want to get awakened by early morning street noise, so we slept with the windows closed and the a/c on. Even still, it was warm, but that didn't stop us from sleeping late most days. Warning- there's no clock in the room except on the telephone. All of the hotel personnel were very cordial and hospitable. Room service, though expensive, was a very nice luxury. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the room clean, and bathroom stocked with clean fluffy towels. Just make sure to put the "Do not disturb" sign on the door if you plan on sleeping in. The front desk was extremely helpful. They spoke perfect English, and they helped us with dinner reservations, tours and general directions. They were always there with a pleasant "Bon Sour" and smiles. The pool, sauna and hammam (steam room) were an added bonus. It was really nice to be able to come back to the hotel after a long hot day, and jump in the pool. A couple of mornings I used the facilities before we went out, and I used the locker room to shower and shave, giving my wife some space in the room to get ready. My only compaint was that the steam room was out of service a couple of times, but when it was working it was awesome with the tiny starlights ceiling. In summary, I would recommend this hotel. It's not as opulent as the Meurice, Ritz or Crillon, but it is a great place to relax and take in as much of Paris as you want.

Excellent business hotel Most effective business hotel with excellent pub across the road. Only thing to say is that the rooms don’t have any specifically Parisian feel to them but that is simply an observation. Traveler's tip on nightlife Top bar over the road in Rue du Mont Thabor

Highly recommend The hotel is located in a great location with easy access to the Louve and great shopping, but best of all easy access to the Metro for getting to other parts of the City. As for cost, it is what I would consider high-ranged but in my opinion is was worth the cost for location and comfort. I highly recommend this hotel. Traveler's tip Great location with easy access to local attactions and great shopping.
