Renaissance Hotel Paris La Defense

My entire experience at this hotel was great.

Definitely would return Best wast the staff...they were great in every aspect--especially a guy named Axel. Very helpful.

The buildings surrounding the hotel are modern and are illuminated at night. Grande Arches is right next to the hotel. The beds are extremely clean and comfortable. There were 6 pillows on the bed! The bathroom was modern and clean.

This hotel was good in general. The location is good for business and the metro station was close. The public spaces in the hotel were very stuffy and hot, and when the electricity went off in my room for 4 hours I had to call the front desk 3 times before it was fixed.

On our trip to Europe, this was our least favorite hotel. The room was cramped, street noise was abundant, the shower only had a half-door, and the shower had no water pressure at all. It is out of the way for tourists (located outside the city), although it is just a short walk from the metro, and there is a modern shopping mall across from the metro station.

This hotel is in Paris, but not really. If you want quiet time this is the hotel and the subway is right outside, which can take you to the busy Paris life.

Comfy, clean, quiet, convenient In a city where hotel rooms tend to as big as a shoebox and as noisy as a freight train, this hotel was neither. A pleasant surprise. Not elegant, but a good business hotel.

We stayed for a conference in the area... if we had it to do over...it would be worth spending the same amount to stay in a more quaint part of town. There is not as much true Parisian feel in the area for the cost. It is outside of the main attractions... however the Metro is close and easy to use. We were unimpressed by the small size although the rooms were clean and ok. There were only news channels in english and very very expensive for movies, internet etc...

La defense is a nice hotel. The room was not very big and we had a corner room which is listed at a higher rate than the other rooms. The staff is very helpful as well as friendly. The location is far from the center of Paris however there is a metro stop located about a three minute walk away from the hotel. Also the hotel is located next to a major attraction.la grande arch. Overall the hotel is clean, comfortable and attractive. I would stay there again mainly because of the price.
