Regina Hotel Paris

2 Place Des Pyramides - 75001 Paris

The Hotel Regina offers elegant Belle Epoque accommodations for visitors to central Paris. Located just off the Rue de Rivoli at the Place des Pyramids from Jardin des Tuileries, this traditional seven-story hotel is a short walk from the Louvre Museum and the Place de Concorde. The hotel faces the Grand Louvre and also overlooks the Tuileries Gardens. It's impressive historic facade gives way to interiors characterized by restored frescoes, dramatic moldings and cornices, antique furnishings, and artwork. Guests can prepare for the day ahead with the hotel's breakfast service. Le Pluvinel is the hotel's refined, sophisticated restaurant. Whether one dines in the elegant dining room or in the adjacent garden courtyard, expect classic French cuisine at its best. The English Bar and Tea Room is a stately destination for English ambiance. Despite its interiors, the bar serves a decidedly French lunch menu. A 24-hour room service is available. For added convenience, the hotel offers meeting space and concierge service. There are 120 rooms at this hotel. Rooms are decorated with Belle Epoque-style furnishings, fine linens, frescoes, and dramatic window treatments. Our room was pricey but we felt it was well worth it for the service and accomodations were very comfortable.

We went to the Regina for our Honeymoon. We stayed 3 nights at this absolutely charming and historic Hotel in the heart of Paris. The location was right across the street from the Louvre and Jardin des Tuileries. The hotel decoration is very turn of the century and emphasizes the Parisian style of life. The room itself was huge and evocative of 'old paris'. The bathroom was big too which is a dream in Paris. The location is fantastic. The staff was great and very helpful. The breakfast was our favorite with egg-ceptional eggs, meats, cheeses, coffee and the addictive chocolate croissants. They filmed a couple of commercial while we were there. It was never a nuisance because they filmed in the middle of the day and only for a couple of hours or so. We thought it was quite interesting, in fact since our visit we have seen the Regina Hotel in two different Hollywood movies. I would highly recommend this Hotel .

Rooms are old and tired and in need of refurbishment. Staff are not very accommodating. Definitely an overpriced hotel. Breakfast is only average.

Overall, we had a nice trip, and enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Regina which has been featured on several movies. For us, it was a splurge, but we enjoyed the location and the view. On all other instances except for the one mentioned above, we found the staff to be helpful and friendly.

Very convenient to sights around London, across the road from Louvre and 3 min walk to Metro station. Good service in a very old world quaint hotel. Room rate high but this is not unusual for Paris.

Spent four terrific nights at this hotel. Great location facing the Louvre. The hotel was as described, being very traditional. Staff were pleasant and friendly throughout our stay. Our room was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable, the beds were changed daily. Chambermaid service was excellent. We were fortunate in having our own little balcony.Breakfast was very nice, however not worth the 30 euro advertised price.

Beautifull hotel from the belle epoque period in perfect location (it cannot get better) in Paris. It is possible to walk to all the major museums and main sights.Rack rate expensive ( above 400 Euros a night). However, got an excellent affordable rate through Asiarooms.com. Highly recommended and will return again.

The Regina is a genuine Parisian hotel in a perfect location in Paris close to all the major museums. The public ares are beautiful but the rooms and fittings are past their prime. The breakfast room is a jewel of art deco.In all a lovely hotel if you can get a reasonable price through Asiarooms, otherwise too expensive.
