The Hotel is small but very nice & quite. The location is perfect as Tour Eiffel is only a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel & the Metro Station is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The double room that we statyed in was spacious. It also had a dressing room & a very spacious bathroom.

+ The district is very nice - residential with little shops and restaurants - safe didn't work very well

I did not appreciate that my credit card was charged immediately at reservation, 3 months before my stay in Paris (Venere said it wouldn't)

    - The promised internet facility in the reception was not working; there was no safe baggage despository; the breakfast was expensive and not included in the price of the room

+ After 24 visits to Paris hotels, this was the first where the bedroom was big enough! - Oppressive, asthma-inducing lilies dominating the lobby and breakfast room.

+ Staff was friendly and helpful most of the time. The room was large - taxi stand was across the street and didn't tell us . We didn't notice
