Prima Lepic Montmartre
29, Rue Lepic - 75018 Paris
The typically Parisian Hotel Lepic is located in the very heart of Paris' bustling Montmartre district, just around the corner from the Place du Tertre, 100 metres from the Moulin Rouge. Individually decorated with soft colours and floral fabrics in reds, whites and pinks, the 38 guestrooms follow a classically romantic theme. All have cable television, tea and coffee making facilities, telephones and dial up Internet connections. Guests can opt for coffee and croissants each morning in the breakfast room, where white painted wrought iron furniture and soft colours continue the hotel's décor. High speed Internet access is available in the lobby area and the 24 hour front desk has a safe deposit box. Business guests can take advantage of the hotel's secretarial service and cell phone rental and informed hotel staff are available to offer local and tourist information. Guests arriving by car will find secure pay parking in the immediate vicinity. The sights of Montmartre are right on the hotel's doorstep: The Sacré Coeur basilica with its panoramic city views and the Café Amelie Poulain are within 300 metres. There are two metro stations within 100 metres so getting around the city from the hotel is simple. Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport is 20 kilometres and approximately a 30 minute drive away. The RER train service serves the airport. Line B runs from the TGV station at Terminal 2 to Gare du Nord. From there, take metro Line 2 in the direction of Porte Dauphine to Blanche station, which is just 100 metres from the hotel. A taxi to the city centre will take around 45 minutes. Roissybus serves all three terminals and runs to the rue Scribe for métro Opéra.

Very nice hotel even if a little bit expensive. The quadruple rooms were very spacious but the stairway was a little bit too small. Very friendly welcome by a very nice lady. The location is also very nice, very close to the famous "Place du Tertre" and t

Hotel is in a great location on the lovely Rue Lepic. My single room on the 5th floor was quiet and clean. The quiet part was unexpected, as so many hotels in Paris suffer from street noise, but the room faced the courtyard. The furnishings are plain but serviceable, bed firm, bathroom very nice. Internet connection was great. Breakfast was acceptable (breakfast is not the strong suit of the French). Staff was always helpful, friendly, and courteous. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was very comfortable and the staff very helpful. Our room, at the front of the hotel and on the third floor, still picked up a lot of noise from the busy street outside. The fittings were adequate. Thw windows didn't close properly and the handle was broken on the bathroom door!! Having said all that we felt that, for the price, we had reasonable value for money and a great time in Paris.

If you like to stay in hotels where you can get a true feel for the neighborhood, this hotel is for you. The street is filled with bakeries, small groceries with an abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables, butcher shops and restaurants. It's a side street so the noise from the street is not a big problem. The rooms that face inward have windows opening out very close to each other so if you have loud people in the next rooms, it can be a problem with the windows open. The rooms are clean but some were quite small even by European standards, while other rooms were larger, a more average size. The bathrooms are typically small but updated and clean. The location is close to the Metro stop and right up the street from the Moulin Rouge. It is within a mile walking distance from the Place Du Tertre/Sacre-Coeur but be warned that the walking is all uphill. For the price that we paid in June 2002 and the location of this hotel, we were overall very pleased.

Lovely hotel on a great street, however the room was tiny, even by Parisian standards. When one is 6'2" and the bed is about 4' this does not make for comfortable sleeping. However, in saying that the bathroom, public areas and employees were all excellent. An enjoyable stay.

The Prima Lepic is a very pretty hotel just a few minutes from the centre of Montmartre and very convenient to several underground stops. Definitely recommended.
