+ It was a clean bed for the night, when everyelse was fully booked during the Rugby World Cup Final. It was central. - Rooms are on the small side

If you aren't use to staying in European hotels, you are going to think the room is too small. But the bathroom was fairly large.

Excellent location in Marais ten minutes walk from Notre Dame. Friendly staff. Extremely small room. Dark and gloomy. No lift but on first floor so no problem. Pity guests on sixth with luggage. Grey towels with holes in. Sheets never changed during six day stay. Good price for location so probably shouldn't expect too much. Will probably upgrade next time. OK as a base but with qualifications.

Hotel Pratic was at a great location on a quiet side street with a helpful staff. Here are a few things to consider about your stay in this hotel. The hotel has no elevator and about 7 or 8 floors, no outside visitors are allowed in your room, you turn your key in at the front desk when ever you go outside. The above list is not complaints simply information.

- very small room (which is a real handicap for tall people) : impossible to move in the shower, head flattened against the top... - We weren't informed before arriving that more than 50% of the rooms couldn't be rented because of an important water damage... consequences : a lot of people had to find other hotels in Paris at the last minute, needless to say it's a real mission - An advice : ask the hotel to confirm your reservation by mail and keep it as a proof - On the other hand, the location is great!!!! In conclusion, this hotel is a good solution if you only want a well located room and a bed to sleep! If you want something more sophisticated, go your way!! ciao

We took a night train to Paris, so we got there around 7AM. We wanted a map and other tourist information, but the information center was closed. We went to one of the hotels near the station and got a map and had decent buffet breakfast. We got to the hotel around 9AM and our room was happened to be ready. It was very nice of them to have let us check in that early. They are helpful and speak English well. The hotel has a good location - Close to the Metro, surrounded by a lot of restaurants and cafes. You can taka a very nice walk to Ile Saint-Louis, which we did every night. Our room was very quiet (If the room is facing to the street, it might be noisy.), but small - especially the bathroom. It's clean, but this is the smallest bathroom that I've ever seen. They put the curtain between the room and toilet (no door), so you might want to use the shared toilet occasionally. No elevator. It's part of European experience!
