Electricity sockets fall out of the wall; wardrobe hard to open/close; Extremly small room; Entire room in a lousy condition; reception not professional enough

Having booked a double superior room and , on arrival, being shown mistakenly, to a standard double, we would strongly recommend you book the former. Not only will you get much more space, extras such as fan, fridge, chairs, etc., but also if you are lucky, a view of the Eiffel Tower from your bathroom!

+ Value for money was good. Once we got the upgrade everything was good. - The room we got first was very poor.Very small.

+ They have made all efforts to solve a critical problem they had at the electrical network. It took two days to repair it, but the important things were still working (elevator, breakfast, etc.)

We had a room with a balcony and a view to the Tour Eiffel in the distance. Though the rooms were not very soundproofed they were comfortable and a good size. The Metro was close and easy to reach all the main attractions.

Excellent value for money and good location. We had booked a superior room and asked that it was non smoking though. It was neither and the hotel was fully booked. Reception provided air fresheners but smell was impossible to mask. However, other room was fine.And couldn't have found better for location and price.

the hotel looks good in the pictures but instead is horrible... really!

everything was falling down. the room furniture was casually bought at some boot sale. no space at all in the room: we had to keep most of our clothes in the luggage, and we had to keep the biggest suitcase in the bathroom...quite big, I must admit. unfortunately it wasn't possible to open the window. on the other hand, the room window didn't close...the staff at arrival didn't speak any english and knew nothing about a garage (which they had assured us it was near the hotel: it was, actually, but we had to sort it out ourselves). the lift was pre-historical and couldn't contain a suitcase and a person. as I had foreseen, I remained stucked inside... but the room and bathroom were clean, the only reason why we chose not to waste a day in Paris looking for another 3* (?!) hotel.

We had a great stay at the Plaza Opera- it was in a far better location than I had realised- only just over a 5 minute walk to the opera and shopping. Great neighbourhood restaurants and atmosphere- not too touristy. The staff were very helpful- rooms were small but clean and tastefully decorated- we also had a balcony which was great!

They lost our reservation and had to put my kids up in another hotel. The elevator was out for four days. The staff rarely managed to respond to requests for towels. The lights in the stairs were out. Otherwise, the location was fine.
