We booked two rooms for the first night and an additional rooms for the second night. The hotel and rooms are no way near the pictures posted on the website. One of the room that we got is with the wall of the next building about 30cm from the window. No view, and due to the summer, it was very stuffy as there is no way any wind can enter the through the window. No aircon either. The bedsheets and carpets are dirty. Towels stinked. The rooms are old... no facilities in the rooms at all. Breakfast is 6 euros, very expensive for coffee, juice and croissant in a very ugly canteen. Only good point is there are many restaurants around and very near the subway. Absolutely very expensive for such a hotel.

Our only slight negative comment about our stay was the fact that on our second night, the road outside did become rather noisey up to about 3am in the morning, which is hardly the fault of the hotel itself. I think most places in central Paris are going to have a problem with traffic noise. Overall, I would stay here again. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I used trip advisor before i booked this so was a bit unsure about the comments that it was in a dodgy area but this is not the case at all. The hotel is right beside a main line metro station (place de clichy) so you can get anywhere in paris within 10 mins, room was fab, bigger than average in paris, clean tidy and basic, just what we expected, The bathroom had a shower and a bath and again was basic but just what you need. I went with my boyfriend and would defo recommend this place to anyone. Also, 5 mins from Moulin rouge and fantastic irish pub open til 6am with the best breakfast ive ever had.

We go to Paris every two years for 6 Nations rugby and have stayed here twice now. Metro directly opposite hotel means you are never very far from anything. Rooms are clean, towels changed daily. 24h reception, breakfast is usual Continental affair but orange juice very good. Good value for money.

Do not book this hotel. The room is small, dirty, dark. When was the photo on the web was taken? Do NOT believe what you see on the web. The elevator is triangle shaped, barely accomodates 2 people, and its response is extremely slow....... The only good point was the distance from the metro station.

Good location in interesting area of Paris. On a very busy street, so a bit noisy if you open the windows but the pay off is lots of life. Room typical Parisian small, but clean. Possibly the worlds smallest lift but at least they have one. Thought the security was too lax at night just left the keys for people to take when the night guy was no where to be found.

We visited Paris for aour honeymoon. Everything was tiny (room, recepcion, elevator, etc) We expected a bigger hotel, but service was fair enough.

Very basic if that is what you require. Very noisy outside all night long - okay if you leave the windows closed, but no air conditioning so gets very hot in summer.
