Not ready for business While the modern features of the rooms were awesome and the breakfast was really good, the hotel is really not ready for business. Noone in the city, including local cab drivers and even information at the train station a few blocks away even knew they existed. When we finally got there, the computers were having issues and it took twenty minutes to get checked in. The day we were leaving, we asked the manager to get us a cab but he seemed to be more concerned about a broken chair in the lobby than helping his guests. They were quite dis-organized. I would suggest waiting a while before visiting this hotel again.

Surprisingly nice We picked this place because the description said it was new. Turns out it is and very nice as well. A bit of a haul walking from Gare du Nord but not too bad. No internet in the rooms but ultimately quite convenient with great people working there.

    - The hotel had only been opened about 6 weeks before we stayed there and was still undergoing teething problems. i had a problem with the room safe which was met with indifference by the staff. the hotel ran out of bath towels which was blamed on the laundry service. i would have expected a hotel to have sufficient number of towels to last for at least two days but apparently not this hotel. the tap in the bathroom sink leaked all over the top and dripped onto the floor. consequently all items left by the sink were continuously wet. the hotel has the fancy idea that we cannot turn lights on and off ourselves and so has conveniently arranged for the lights in the bathroom to be movement operated. this is ok but it takes about 5 minutes after leaving the bathroom for the lights to go out. also the sensor operates all the time, irrespective of whether it's daylight or not. the breakfast was acceptable but the hotel uses a coffee machin to dispense tea and coffee. this is ok when the restaurant is quiet but as each drink takes quite a while to prepare, on the morning when the dining room was busy there was a lengthy queue for coffee. the buffest was good but once again the toast machine was extremely slow and created a queue. also there was only one member of staff on duty and he was rushed off his feet on the morning the room was busy. there was no-one else to assist him.

The service of the hotel is very poor I’ve been to many hotels in my life and this one I consider it as the worse. The service provided by the hotel was awful and I considered the attitude of the front desk very impolite and rude. In addition, our air condition did not work and it was very warm inside the room. The cleanliness of the room was not performed during our entire stay (bathroom dirty). Besides this, I should not leave any money or other objects in the room. When we claimed at the front desk, but nothing happen. The nice part is that we only spend two days in Paris. I would never book this hotel again and I do not recommend it. Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks When you arrive in Paris, buy a RER/Metro ticket for 3 zones for the entire lenght of your stay. It will save you time and money compared to a taxi or a rental car.

Good location for Eurostar and Gare de l'Est Far higher standard than most hotels in this part of Paris. 5-10 minutes walk from stations. Room was a good size, very clean, comfortable bed, well air-conditioned and in quiet street. Ideal if you need a hotel close to the trains.

Fantastic value for money A 5 minute walk from Gare du Nord so no need to hassle with a taxi or the metro even if you get in late.

Contemporary style near the Gare du Nord In restaurants service (and 20%VAT) is always included in the bill, so there's no need to leave a tip.
