Great value/Would Stay Again.Right around the corner from the Varenne Metro station on Line 13. This was my first visit to Paris. After exhaustive research, I chose the Palais Bourbon and it exceeded my expectations for a 2Star.Rm 5 on 3rdFl has a double and a twin bed, armroire, desk, refrigerator/limitedbar, bathroom w/hairdryer, tub/hanging handheld shower (no curtain, but no problem :) ). Stayed 1st wk of December, well heated. NO clock/alarm. TV w/CNNin English, most other stations in French.Breakfast was a croissant and fabulous roll/jelly/butter & coffee/tea/hotchocolate. Front desk staff spoke English/very helpful (poor French should be attempted :). Excellent service.

The hoel is situated in a nice street and area. We found it easy to access everything we wanted to via the metro station near the hotel. The supermarket came in handy. The 24 hour reception desk was very good as our flight was cancelled and we did not arrive at the hotel until 1am. Breakfast was very good and having the option of having it served in our room meant that we could get a little extra sleep. The breakfast maids were happy and efficient however if the person in the room near you has ordered breakfast earlier than you, you will be woken by the delivery of it.

The Hotel is comfortable enough but a bit tired. Great location, close to Metro and a walk to the Louvre. Simple continental breakfast but enough for us. The weekend concierge was very helpful but the weekday one was less so. No frills but would recommend based on location.

Palais Bourbon surpassed my expectations of a two-star. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and clean, the neighborhood quiet and safe. I was within walking distance of key tourist sites and museums. I ate at reasonably priced restaurants, full of locals. Superb!

We stayed at Palais Du Bourbon for a few days in early August after cruising the Meditteranean for 11 days. We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Paris and only regret that we didn't have more time. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. If you are looking for an economically priced hotel that is centrally located to all attractions...look no further.

Great location and friendly staff. I never had any problems w/ my room, but my father had a small room w/ a tiny shower (he's 6'2" tall and 250 lbs and barely fit in there)...mine was a good sized room for Europe's standards and had a big bathtub. If you book and want a big room then get the double...I recommend room #8. I will stay there again my next time in Paris.

The beds were very hard and the walls very thin. A nice man welcommed us, but the man in the reseption the last day was very rude, in a bad mood and not service minded at all. He should not work in a hotel. Terrible!
