I was told breakfast was included and this was not the case as breakfast was an additional $18 per person. At the prices for rooms at this hotel I would have thought breakfast would be included.

Not Impressed I found this hotel after searching for a hotel in Paris, within this area that provided high speed internet connection. the entrance was very pleasant and the receptionist friendly, but that is where my positive comments end. I have no idea how this is a 4 star hotel, the room was small, dark, bed soft, 2 very poor quality pillows, bedside lamp did not work. One of my key criteria was the internet, which cost an additional EUR 22 - this covers the whole day, but I only needed it for 30 mins to synchronise my mailbox & send some pre-prepared messages. The hotel advised I could pay by the hour, but would not help me achieve that, instead giving false information. I did not even get a bill for my EUR 22, so will now have an issue to reclaim my money from my company! For what they had to offer, the hotel was expensive, and sadly, some of the people I dealt with less than helpful - indeed, the front desk manager tried to tell me that standards in Paris are maybe not as high as in other cities (his justification for 4 stars), that really blew me away and is not in my experience true. I would strongly suggest to stay away, there are much better places to stay in Paris. Sorry I could not be more positive.

+ Good location. - The room had a balcony but the balcony door was locked and thus not possible to access.

The best service I stayed in 4 different hotels in the past & this was the best. They have great location, excellent service and reasonable price.

We stayed for one night initially and after visiting Belguim for the Tour de France returned for 6 nights. The rooms we stayed in on the first night were small, but they were nicely decorated and very clean. I loved the winding stair case, classic elevator and phone booth. We asked for an upgrade for the second 6 day stay and were accommodated. Much larger rooms, so I would suggest asking for an upgrade. The clerks were not as helpful as the bartender. He was outstanding. I would stay there again just so he could act as our tour guide. He suggested a restaurant called Les Fermes Des Mathurians within walking distance of the hotel. It was the best french meal we had. The wine was excellent, and so was the escargot, veggies and lamb chops. The bartender suggested wines which I purchased and brought back to the states and he also drew a map for us to get the Les Fermes Des Mathurians which I kept to put in our scrapbook. Overall, it was a good stay and the price reasonable given hotel rates in Paris. We wished that there was more night life in the area, but loved being 1/2 block from the M train.

Great little hotel The hotel's in a tiny street and we had some problems finding it, both on initial arrival in a taxi (the driver didn't know the street) and during our stay. Best to get good directions before you set off. But for such a great hotel, it's worth it!
