New Hotel Candide Paris

DEFINATELY NOT 'NEW' was good

comfortable and cozy Although the rooms where small, they make up for it with the cleanliness and great customer service. It has a great location from the metro Voltaire that takes you directly to the Eiffel Tower. I highly recommend this hotel for any tourist coming into Paris. Many hotels in Paris have small room, but for the price you cannot go wrong with this hote.l

Not impressed You can find other hotels nearby that offer somewhat nicer rooms and more friendly staff at the same price of Hotel Candide.

Great little hotel in wonderful location The hotel was just great and the staff was very helpful, polite, and welcoming. They all spoke English. The rooms are small, but typical of European hotels, so no complaints. everything was very clean. The location was perfect: in a nice residential area with lots of shops and cafes around, just steps from the metro and a few blocks from Pere LaChaise cemetery. It was very quiet at night--good for sleeping. As much as I hate to mention it, if you bring the kids and they are feeling homesick, there is a McDonalds just a block away from the hotel.

Good breakfast but not impressed! The level of cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms were particularly disappointing in 5 days they didn't hoover the carpet! Apart from this the only thing that was good was the breakfast and the friendly staffs.

New Hotel Candide For a 3* Paris hotel this was fine. The room was quite small & the view from the window was a wall, but we weren't in Paris to stay in the room & look out of the window! It was clean & recently renovated. The breakfast was a cold buffet - usual croissants, cereals, tinned fruit, yogs, fruit juice and tea / coffee. It was close to a Metro station and on a quiet side road. We would defintely stay there again when in Paris.

Under matineance Unfortunatley there was work being done on the hotel when we were there. Room was fine though. Bathroom was good. Close to metro and laundry 4 doors up. Wireless internet is not free though.
