What sets this apart from similar 3 star hotels in Paris is the excellent and friendly service from the staff. The hotel is quite basic but it is clean and beds comfortable and the breakfast is more than adequate to set you up for the day with fresh croissants and pastries, cereal, juice, cold meats, cheeses etc. Location is second to none with the Arc de Triomphe around the corner and walking distance to the Eiffel Tower - and even the Louvre for the more energetic! Would definitely stay there again.

Sweet Honeymoon (if not a Honeymoon Suite) My new wife and I took our trip to Paris, and this was a wonderfull place to stay. It is close to everything, and surrounded by a mixed use neighborhood, so there were plenty of shops for extras. The restaurant across the street is very good, and serves traditional french fair. A great place to catch a late dinner if everywhere else has stopped serving. The rooms are small, but consistant with the other similarly priced hotels. The metro is a block away, and it is an easy walk to the markets for a quick morning pastry or piece of fruit before you start your day. Would certainly go back. Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks There is a grocery store around the corner that sells 1 liter bottles of pepsi for 1.5 Euros. Big savings. Buy the bottled water too. It’ll save a fortune when touring. I paid about 10 bucks for cokes at some of the cafes near the tourist spots.

Very friendly, helpful, efficient staff. Excellent location, only a stone's throw from the Arc de Triomphe. Hotel very clean and well run. Ideal for a short stay in the City of Lights. I intend staying there again in the future. Bravo, Venere, on having the Neva on your list!

Nice location Good basic hotel, European size room (ie smaller than typical American hotels). For this time of year room was continually hot and not well ventilated, but the windows opened fine. Internet was expensive, so I left it alone. Magnetic card key was forever losing its encoded info. Finally just had to turn it into the desk like the typical European key deal. Room was pricey, but that is more a function of the dollar/Euro issue. Excellent location for the Metro and easy access to the Arc d’ Triumph. Perfectly adequate for my use as a base for touring Paris. Host spoke good English and I had no problems with pre-pay made through Expedia.

I became ill while staying there, something I picked up in Morocco. They organised a doctor for me who arrived at the hotel within the hour. Excellent service.

Small on space, big on convenience! Hotel, elevator, rooms and bathrooms all quite small, however, in Paris, there’s no other reason to be in a hotel room other than to sleep! Hotel is wonderfully located about 2 short blocks from the metro and the Arc. Hotel staff speaks some English and are helpful with directions, tours, late night restaurants, etc. Overall, this is an ideally located hotel in an ideal city. Traveler's tip on dining 4 star restaurant right across the street from Hotel Neva serves exceptional food. Creme brulee was to die for and they serve until late night.

Centrally located hotel. The Air France coaches direct from Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports have a stop and pick-up point just a few minutes walk from the hotel, so it is very convenient getting to and from the airports.
