Friendly staff in a good location. Only complaint is the hotel is not airconditioned and in summer this makes the rooms very stuffy and hot.

As the sign says, 'charm and character'. Excellent location, good-sized quad-room and excellent breakfast room. All good -- price pretty steep, but perhaps that's just Paris.

Posit. :Cosy athmosphere. Friendly staff. Excellent location at a short walking distance from Place de la Madeleine and Place d´Opéra. The new Méteor Metro drives btween la Madeleine and the National Library (worth while seeing). 10 to 15 minutes walk to Place de la Concorde or to the department stores of Lafayette and Printemps. A functioning safe in the room. Neg. :Our triple room had a double bed and an extra provisional bed against our expectation of 3 separate beds (we were 3 senior aged ladies). One mini small old elevator.
