Montaigne Hotel

Great stay and great location You walk out of the hotel and you can see the Eiffel Tower right there. It was a very convenient location for getting around Paris. The street itself has every major fashion designer’s store on the street and then there is this great hotel. Two Metro lines to get there from Gare du Nord. The hotel staff were excellent. Very friendly and very helpful. The rooms were just as we had asked.

excellent location and extremely helpful staff just got back from Paris and would definetly recommend this hotel. the rooms aren't the biggest but that's to be expected in Paris. The location is perfect and there is an amazing view of the eiffel tower from outside the hotel. Perfect street for shopping (if you hav a few quid) Fendi, Jimmy Choo Valentino etc right next door. Staff were very helpful and extremely helpful.

Wonderful Hotel What a great little hotel! Great location, you can see the Eiffel Tower from the end of the block, great shopping all around:Prada, Jimmy Choo, Doir, just to name a few. The street is fairly quiet at nite, great views of the street if you have a room on the front. Very large rooms by European standards, large well lite bathroom. No iron in room but they do have one to lend you. Very friendly staff, I will be back to stay here agian. Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay Get up early and do Museums first things to beat the line, you will get more time at your favorite paintings this way. Take a bus tour on your firstday to get an overall view of the city, and find thing you did not know you were intrested in.

Not impressed The location is excellent and the staff very helpful, but the rooms and bathrooms need refurbishing.

Great location, nice staff, wonderful experience We were pleasantly surprised with the great location - close to metro and a fantastic view of Eiffel Tower at the end of the street. It is in a lovely neighborhood with many nice restaurants closeby, and a great cafe at the end of the street as well. We would definitely stay there again.

Very Nice Hotel Montaigne is located in a very quiet and elegant area. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Most of the staff spoke English. Our room was very nice and looked out over the street. The carpet was a little worn and we had no shower. There is a little restaurant in the basement and they also have a bar. Location is very close ( walking distance ) to many attractions. We were very happy with our stay. Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks Use the money machine to get euros.

Great location! Upon arrival after the 2pm check in time, our room wasn't ready - we were given complimentary tea and pastries, which was lovely. Room was nice, but very small - good balcony. Beautiful bathroom. Had everything we needed, and great location - not far from the Eiffel Tower, close to the Champs del Elysee, beautiful stores all around.

Hotel Montaigne Very nice hotel. Superb location: 20 minute leisurely walk to either the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomph and about a block away from the Metro station. Rooms were larger than normal for European standards. A very good value.

Great location but hotel is OK, room service was bad. Mini bar was locked and could not get key. No bellman servic when checked out

Perfect location There are some lovely shops around the Madeleine area and its only a 30 minute stroll from the hotel.
