don't expect much! although quite pricy, don't expect much from this hotel. location is key, especially if you are leaving from Gare de Lyon, otherwise, there is nothing in this part of Paris worth visiting

- The reception staff were aloof and uninterested in maintaining service standards. - The rooms were uncomfortable with furnishings in need of replacement. - The cleaning staff do not exercise discretion when entering rooms. - Compared to other Mercure hotels, direly needs an operation and service standards improvement

+ EScellent location - I needed a mobile tel charger ( suitable for local voltage) which the hotel could not supply. Given the number of UK/US & Japanese visitors this could be a useful service

Small, dated rooms. More like a super 8 than a three star hotel.

Great hotel--Great location This is a modern well maintained hotel directly adjacent to the Gare de Lyon. It is accessible by two Metro lines and is surrounded by stores and restaurants of every variety. It’s location is ideal for getting in and out of Paris with an absolute minimum of hassle. It is not inexpensive, however. But it’s worth the cost because it gives you a high measure of control during your visit to a bustling city environment. I’d stay there again without question.

Hotel is in a great location but is tired and in need of some renovation. Arriving or departing from Paris Gare De Lyon this is the location but don’t expect too much. Rooms are very tired and ventilation was not very good. Everything is servicable and the breakfast reasonable given Paris prices. OK for an overnight stay.

Due to air France strike, we had to take a train which took us to Gare De Lyon right where the hotel is situated so it was very convenient. Many eating places, easy to take a train and a wonderful staff who could speak English very well and understood our needs.
