Majestic

Hotel described as having internet connection. Staff said connection through Orange. We could not connect in our room. There WAS wifi of Hotel Majestic, which asked for a pin. We were refused the pin. There was in the adjacent hotel a computer with very expensive rates. For our purpose - THERE WAS NOT INTERNET IN THIS HOTEL.

Very close to metro station (50 meters) Brochant. Employees very kind, room quite clean. We booked a double room but a twin was provided. After we complained they moved us into a double that was the last remained, so I suggest you to specify well you choice when booking..There is a night bus to the hotel from Chatelet/Les Halles,I recomend it!

Very good value for price quoted. Room standard was excellent - decoration looked quite new. Never had breakfast so cant say what this was like.I didnt go as a tourist so position away from the touristy bits didnt matter at all - anyway, you can get anywhere by Metro !!

when i arrived i find my room dirty: so i called the reception and they gave me another room. the hotel is near (20 m) to the metro station and the room was well heated. the employers were gentle.near the hotel there are supermarket, couffier, bar...in a word all the think u need. i had a nice time here. i suggest u this hotel

very ship breakfast

Vi kom till hotellet på natten. Vi upptäckte att vi inte alls hade fått ett dubbelrum utan ett twin. Sängarna stod på hjul och flyttade på sig så fort man satte sig på dem. Rummet stank av rök. Dagen efter på morgonen fick vi ett nytt rum, dubbel. Fräscht badrum med duschkabin (badkar i twin). Det nya rummet låg mot innegården=tyst. Däremot var det bara en vanlig tunn dörr mellan ett annat rum och man hörde ALLT. En sak att tänka på är att om du är känslig mot rök, välj inte detta hotell. Jättegott bageri ca 20 m från hotellet och metrostation inom ca 100 m. Busstation finns utanför hotellet om ni är ute sent. First they gave us the wrong room with a twin bed even though we had booked a double room. The morning after, they gave us a double room with no problems. Small but clean. Also quiet because the the room was close to the yard and not to the street. The whole hotel smelled of smoke so if you're sensitive, stay at another hotel! The subway station is very close to the hotel, about 100 meters. There is a bus station outside the hotel, if you stay out late. Avevamo prenotato una camera doppia ma ci hanno dato una camera twin (i letti avevano route, quindi, ogni volta che mi sedevo sul letto si spostava). La mattina ci hanno dato una camera doppia senza problemi- personale gentile. Le stanze sono abbastanza piccole ma bastano per 2 persone. Il bagno è pulito con la doccia (camera twin con la vasca). Tutto l'albergo puzza di fumo, quindi, se sei sensibile al fumo, prenota un'altro hotel! La stanza era silenziosa perchè dava all’interno dell’hotel. Pasticceria buona entro 20 metri, stazione metro entro 100 m e fermata dell’autobus entro tipo 20 m.

the reception was not open when we arrieved but the sister hotel was only 2 doors away. The room was nice and comfortable, however A/C was not working and the reception was not manned to report the fault. Overall the room was modern an the stay was enjoyable.

Very quiet room with good curtains so it could be made completely dark. The plumbing was a bit old but eveything worked OK.

Good Quality/Price ratio, very close to underground stations and walking distance from the downtown. Clean rooms with new forniture. The only "problem" we met is that the Hotel asked us for extra fee for the additional baby cradle we asked for, even though on the web site it was shown as for free. Anyway, at the end the staff was persuaded and the initial agreed price was payed. Bring with you a copy of the booking with ALL your additional requests!

Don't have breakfast!! Maybe the day we had breakfast the hotel was short staffed, but no one cleaned the tables, so we sat at a dirty table, there was no breakfast left apart from cold coffee, some bread and cereal, and then the waiter argued with clientele and refused to give his name to make a complaint about. The hotel was fine as a place to sleep but I was a little uncomfortable in the area it was located.
