The room was very dirty, expecially the bathroom. Only an older man in the lobby was incredible unpolite and unfriendly

Quite small room with poor mattress,bath not quite clean located in a nice area.

This hotel is very expensive for the quality of the service : the rooms are small, the bed is bad, all the things look like dirty...It is not a 2 stars hotel : just have a look to hotel of Campanille type..........;

They charged us more than the contracted price claiming it was a "tax". No other Venere booked hotel has ever done this. We booked a double, but there were five beds stuffed in this cramped room. You could barely walk. Sewer pipes ran everywhere and lots of water running noise through them. Construction across the street made sleeping past 7AM impossible. Only one person could speak English and that was very poor. Evening shift had no interest in helping out guests. This advertized as two stars which were taped over on one of their signs. This property would merit NO stars, except minus two. Would not recommend this excessively priced dump to anyone.

i reserved and pay 1 month before on venere 61 euros for bathroom room (reduce price on site) or they give me single shower room that cost 50 euros on their table. when i tell them, they don't give me promise room (saying it was full!), but they don't bill me 50 euros, saying it was more expansive with venere, so 61 euros was right for it instead of 50!

i stayed in this hostel from 08 August 2007 to 11 August 2007. My room was a double room. 1) The surroundings of the hotel is really bad. I was living opposite to a construction site. Everyday morning it is extremely noisy. We stayed too closed to the construction site. The workers can easily observe my room. No Privacy. 2) The service is not good enough ( not very bad but they dun have the incentive to give u assistance )The staff doesnt know english even simple english like HOT WATER. Also they are cool~~ 3)After 1st night they did some cleaning for my room but they didnt in the 2nd day. Yet cleaning is bad. They jsut tidy up some stuff but they DO NOT change the items for replacement. I slept in a smelly bad for 2 nights. Nightmare !!!!

I was in Paris for the weekend just to take the LSAT and hang out with some old friends. I think that this hotel was perfect for that. Yes, there is some construction going on in the area, but as long as you're up and out by 10am, it's really no big dea

they were not welcoming but location was great.

The only thing positive about this hotel is that it's not too far from the Bastille underground stop... BUT when we arrived they didn't have our reservation and we were given a stinky-dumpy room with dozen of beatles (at a certain point we got used and had fun killing them). We had to ask for clean towels, toilet paper, hair-drier, but most of the times they didn't understand us (or pretended to).

Room is not so clean. Employees never speak English. you must talk in French. But this hotel is not expensive. If you want to be stay in low price, there is no BIG problem.
