A charming hotel, beautifully decorated. A lovely atmosphere with a particularly attractive breakfast area, and an excellent breakfast. The bathroom attached to our room was very good: compact but with all the plumbing new and fresh. However the room itself was TINY. It did not match the picture of the double room on the website. There was literally no room to open even one suitcase on the floor, let alone two. My daughter and I had to take turns to lift out bags up onto the bed to open them, which was not at all convenient. There was no room to walk around the bed once the bags were propped up against the wall. There was really no place to sit apart from on the bed. While one small chair was provided it was really more decorative than serviceable. This double room was too small for two people, and even one person with a large case would struggle. The room size was the one negative about the hotel, but an important one! I would happily stay at the Louis II again if I could be assured of a larger room.
