Photo of lobby gives the illusion of something that is not. We were in our room 5 minutes when a water pipe broke flooding our room. We were then given a room which was in actuality an attic that was musty smelling and dusty from lack of attention and/or use. We were given no sheets or pillow cases for the fold out bed for my niece. She had to sleep on top of a coverlet from the other bed. There was no curtin on the shower which caused more water flooding when bathing. I would not stay there again. I woud not recommend this property to anyone but am forced to check a group as part of the survey

Hotel Touraine Opera This hotel is really terrible. One of my walls still had plaster on it and was not finished and painted. The toilet seat was not the proper size and fit for the toilet!!! The shower was not screwed in properly so you had to balance the head before having a shower. I think a youth hostel would have been better!! The wireless internet access was not working while I was there. Traveler's tip on shopping Its right next to Galleries Lafayette and Print Temp. Location is good.

I stayed for 5 nights back in October of 2008. The room was clean, the hotel well kept. Nice family run place. Great location on Long Island Sound. Beautiful views.

Small, but convenient hotel, near La Trinité and N.D. de Lorette, in the Opera quarter. Three Metro stations are from 200 to 600 meters, giving access to several lines. My single room was small, but enough to my needs of tourism, including a minibar, ideal for the hot days I lived there (due to summer, OK?). Breakfast is a small buffet, not always very well served. The small underground cellar seemed to be enough for the guests. One night, returning late to the hotel, I had to insist a little bit to get the gate open, but not a big problem, anyway. The surroundings are interesting. Not a large amount of services (restaurants and so on), but some spots in Trinité and rue Saint Lazare ou Chateaudun made their job. A little bit cheaper should be great for such a modest facility. Breakfast was not added to the bill, anyway, even if it was not fully clear in the online reservation it to be included in the agreed fare. Convenient if you are not being to stay long time in the room or the hotel. Bathroom was small, but shower was conveniently sized. On the other side, to sit in the WC was quite a challenge. My room was #405, fourth floor with lift, and fully silent. Good choice, if such a quarter is on your target.
