We stayed in the standard room. Yes, it is quite small, especially compared to hotel rooms in North America. However, having just been on a cruise, this room was plenty big in our eyes. Also, most tourists use their hotel rooms to sleep in and chill out at the end of the day. In Paris, you don't spend much time time in your hotel. Besides, we weren't planning on doing any entertaining.

Very hospitable hotel, both chic and friendly. Staff very friendly & helpful. Only complaints were size of rooms(quite small, no mini bar, but prettily decorated) and apparently the air-con on the ground floor can be noisy. Would definitely stay here again.

+ Rooms were very nice for Paris and very clean. staff was courteous. - i had read one comment about the walls being thin... and they are... but overall it wasn't a problem and I'd recommend the place.

    - my room was in the front on ist floor and there should have been blackout lining to stop the light from the hotel sign coming through the curtains.

+ Clean and friendly staff, nice place close to the eiffell tower. - the room we stayed in to the front of the hotel when it rained you could hesr the tap tap tap of the rain dripping on to the lead flashing outside the window which kept me awake all nigh

standard room is quite small (bathroom included): although this is typical of most hotels in Paris, it is not a full 4 star standard, in my opinion. After the fist night we moved into a "superior" room: spacious and very comfortable (but a little bit too expensive: about 220 €/night). Take note that breakfast is not included (and it costs 12 €/person): it is quite rich and the location is nice (some nice cafè/bistrot in the surroundings, anyway...). The hotel is located in an elegant (and calm) arrondissement, very close to the metro station.
